RGF Staffing Belgium wins Trends Impact Award with RGF Connect program
RGF Staffing Belgium has won the Trends Impact Award for the most sustainable company in the ‘Diversity & Inclusion’ category for Large Companies. It is a special appreciation for the RGF Connect project HEAR2WORK. This program is about guiding candidates with a hearing impairment into employment.
Winning the Trends Impact Award in the ‘Diversity & Inclusion’ category underlines how impactful RGF Connect – HEAR2WORK makes the job market more accessible for people with hearing disabilities. Through small adjustments in the workplace, it is often already possible for people with hearing problems to work in a suitable job.
Yvonne Mastenbroek, RGF Staffing’s Chief Sustainability Officer, congratulates the Belgian colleagues with this well-deserved appreciation: “As an HR service provider, RGF Staffing views work and access to the labor market as an important key to helping people play a social role and achieve financial empowerment. Our goal is to help people around the world who are facing barriers. We do this through our global RGF Connect program. Each local initiative is great on its own, but together we make an even bigger impact. This is exactly what we aim for: ‘creating local ripples, which can build up into one global wave’. And this makes me proud!”
RGF Connect originates from RGF Staffing’s strong internal focus on Diversity & Inclusion. RGF Staffing has won the Trends Impact Award not only for its global network of training and support solutions, but also because it encourages cross-pollination between its national programs.
The Trends Impact Award jury appreciates the fact that RGF Staffing self-funded the RGF Connect program. The jury finds RGF Staffing Belgium's HEAR2Work project an excellent example of how a company's core business is used to strengthen a social cause.
A special thanks to Belgian colleagues Michael Vercauteren, Ellen Bral, Xenia Elbers and their colleagues for all their hard work, passion and commitment. It is thanks to them and all other RGF Connectors and colleagues worldwide, that we can build bridges and break down barriers by helping more people obtain meaningful employment.
